Overview
SBS Digital LLC ("SBS Digital," "we," "us," or "our") is an Indiana limited liability company that operates sitesbystephen.com (the "Site"). We provide web design and development, email marketing, automation, SEO, and lead generation services for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. Information we collect
Strategy call requests. When you submit our strategy call intake form, we collect the information you provide: your name, business name, email address, phone number, website URL, business type, revenue range, goals, and any notes you include. This information is processed and stored by HubSpot, our CRM provider, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Newsletter signups. When you subscribe to our Stack & Scale newsletter, we collect your email address, which is also stored in HubSpot.
Booking data. When you schedule a call with us, your name, email address, and selected meeting time are processed by HubSpot Meetings, our scheduling provider.
Analytics. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site. These tools set cookies and collect usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and referral source. See the Cookies and analytics section below for opt-out options.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries, prepare for and conduct strategy calls, deliver and improve our services, send the Stack & Scale newsletter to subscribers, protect the Site against spam and abuse, and understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf: HubSpot (forms, contact records, and call scheduling), Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 for site analytics), and Hostinger (website hosting). Each provider processes data only as needed to perform its function and is governed by its own privacy and security terms.
Cookies and analytics
The Site uses cookies set by Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you block cookies entirely. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Lead and subscriber records are retained until you ask us to delete them. IP addresses processed for rate limiting are retained only briefly. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing info@sitesbystephen.com. You can unsubscribe from the Stack & Scale newsletter at any time by replying to any newsletter email or emailing us at the same address. We respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
